Music
Mr. Mistery uses to knock Orna's Live Shows door. He always feels glad for this, and he runs to open the door to him.
Orna's music is made of songs that were built up from his own poems, trying to find the most appropriate melodies, arrangements and sonorities for each lyric, according to his capabilities and feelings.
He performs it using a sampler (loaded with self-recorded sounds), a synthesizer, guitar, tabla, other percussions and his own voice as the main element. He uses to perform accompanied by Joan MIró, oud and ney player.
With his music, he attempts to evocate the mistery of time, life and love, swimming always in the ambiguity sea waters and becoming funny sometimes.
He remembers that live performance is the best place for his music. Nevertheless, he has made some recordings to introduce it to others and to get listened. His first demo CD, "The time it took", has been said to be innovative, very personal and hard to classify. Those who know him personally use to say that his lyrics say a lot about himself. Some compared Orna's music to that from other musicians and authors. Some didn't give their comments.
